about the artist

I grew up in Northern California, always fascinated by the ocean. I went to college in Oregon and knew it was too cold to stay there forever. After college I moved south to sunny Redondo Beach, CA.

I started pouring resin in 2020 after getting a beginner kit from my brother. It has been, by far, the most difficult medium I have worked with, but has been such an amazing challenge. I started small, practicing on canvases until I felt comfortable moving to charcuterie boards. I have since been able to design a collection of amazing homeware products. 

One Sunday, walking around Hermosa Beach, I spotted a poster for local artists to submit surfboard art as a community fundraiser and event. I mocked up my design in Photoshop, pitched my board, and was accepted. I had no idea if it was even going to work. It turned out stunning! Since then I have created two more unique boards and have a few more in the works!
